Ronnie Fieg Is Bringing New Colorways for the Kith x Clarks x Adidas Samba Sneaker
One of the biggest sneaker collaborations of the year is growing larger, as Ronnie Fieg has announced new colorways for the Kith x Clarks x Adidas Samba.
The crepe-soled Samba is returning with new colorways, one of which was posted by Fieg to Twitter/X over the weekend. The Christmas-appropriate color scheme features leather Three Stripes branding in blue, green, and burgundy to go along with a blue leather mustache. Cream suede then makes up the majority of the upper, save for a darker brown suede for the toe tip. Down low, of course, is Clarks‘ signature gum sole.
The three-way Samba collaboration made its debut in March with the colorways, including one quite similar to the new pair previewed with its leather panels all in green. Resale prices for the sneakers now reach as high as double the retail price of $220 on platforms such as StockX.
Fieg also wore this new Samba colorway in his October Footwear News cover story. In that same story, said Clarks Originals chief marketing and digital officer Tara McRae said: “We knew it was going to be a good release, but we were blown away by how massive the response was. The insane excitement and desire for the product produced the need for an additional large pre-order, something we had not done before.”
Just last week, Adidas accepted the award for the Samba being named the Shoe of the Year at the FN Achievement Awards 2023.
The Kith x Clarks x Adidas Samba will release Dec. 25 as part of the Kithmas collection. Expect to see the other colorways soon and for the retail price to be set again at $220.
