New World TV steps up for multi-country CAF deal starting with 2023 AFCON
December 4 – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has signed a broadcast rights deal with New World TV for the confederation’s competitions for the 2023-2025 cycle in Sub-Saharan Africa.
CAF said that the rights deal, including the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations broadcast rights, followed “a highly competitive tender process” that involved global networks.
In a statement, CAF president Patrice Motsepe said: “The Media Rights Agreement with New World TV is the biggest investment by a Pan-African broadcaster in CAF’s history.
