Burton Snowboards Takes On Merrell’s Hydro Moc At Neo Gore-Tex as Part of Robust Winter Collaboration.

Two outdoor giants are joining forces, as Burton Snowboards and Merrell‘s premium 1TRL division are releasing a 21-piece Mine77 collection of winter apparel and snowboard gear.

On the footwear front, the collaboration is headlined by the Hyrdro Moc At Neo Gore-Tex, a beefed-up version foam trail shoe. A Gore-Tex bootie extends waterproofing all the way up to the ankle, while a lock-in cage heel sling and toggle laces provide extra security. While the rest of the sneaker is rendered in black, the outsole appears in a marbled pattern featuring blue, white, grey, and black that’s unique to Burton’s Mine77 collection.

A paint drip pattern in blue, orange, and black is then a throughline for the rest of the collection, as it appears on a Gore-Tex 3L shell jacket, Gore-Tex 3L Bibs, a Ring Leader snowboard, men’s and women’s snowboard bindings, Anon x Burton M5 goggle, and First Mittens. There’s also a bright orange insulated vest and insulated shorts to go along with a Gore-Tex Stetch 3L Anorak and Pants set featuring an all-over script print. Rounding out the goods is a black Down Trench Coat, a baseball-uniform like base layer and bottoms in blue and orange, and red Knit Fleece Top and Pants.

Burton’s Mine77 collection, first launched in 2018 with designs from founder Jake Carpenter, is a continually evolving collection of limited-edition goods.

The full Merrell 1TRL x Burton Mine 77 collection is out now through the websites of both parties as well as their physical stores. Pricing for the the Hydro Moc At Neo Gore-Tex is set at $250, while the rest of the collection runs from $44 to $700.
