‘It’s a waste of time’ rant ITV viewers as they slam I’m A Celeb and call for show shake up
I’M A Celebrity fans are calling on bosses to shake-up a “stupid” element of the show.
Long-time viewers are fed-up of the big vote reveal format that precedes each night’s elimination.

Like clockwork, show hosts Ant and Dec make their way into camp to tease the result of the public vote.
But viewers are mourning the element of surprise after noticing the same thing happens every episode.
One wrote in a fan forum: “It’s too formulaic, the last person is always the one to be the 2nd ‘could be you’ so the suspense is really limited to whenever they say the first ‘could be you’.
“They could do it in alphabetical order that way it could be anyone up until the 2 ‘could be yous’ so the suspense is the same every time.
“Granted there are a few issues with this, but the current system isn’t the best.”
Another posted: “Agree it just uses up some time. The stupid bit is that bit isn’t live anyway, if they cut it down it would give a little more time for the recap or the exit interview.”
A third said: “The way they announce it is stage managed as well to build pressure on folk producers want gone as well. ‘Oh she was a could be, she’ll be gone tomorrow, no point in me voting her to stay anymore’.”
Last night saw Nick Pickard and Josie Gibson in the bottom two, with the Hollyoaks actor ultimately getting the chop.
Grateful for the experience, Nick said in his exit interview: “I have never been asked before and it was a honour to be asked.”
On the worst moment in camp, he claimed it was the Critter Mixer trial, saying: “It was horrible, I was numb by the end of it. I’m not very good with cars anyway.”
He admitted he wasn’t phased by the eating trials, however, saying: “I liked every food, when you are that hungry you will eat anything.”
Asked about the tension in camp surrounding Fred Sirieix wanting to do all the cooking, Nick explained: “He gave Josie a little bit of a rough time, not in a bad way, but he is a little bit of a perfectionist. Luckily, I only had one service before he left.”
