Bank of Canada Unsatisfied With Inflation's Downward Trend, Official Says

Higher interest rates have worked to cool economic activity and relieve upward price pressures, but the Bank of Canada isn’t satisfied inflation is on a sustainable downward trend toward 2%, a senior central bank official said.
