Man, 54, wounded in shooting overnight on South Side, gunman in custody, police say

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., the victim was involved in an argument with another man in the 9000 block of South Phillips Avenue. The person he was arguing with produced a firearm and shot the victim, police said.
