Ron Harper Jr. to have season-ending surgery, waived by Raptors

The Toronto Raptors waived Ron Harper Jr. on Friday after announcing that the guard-forward will have season-ending shoulder surgery.

Harper sustained a subluxation of his left shoulder during an NBA G League game with Raptors 905 on Thursday night at Long Island.

He was playing for the Raptors on a two-way contract this season and is expected to undergo surgery next w
