I’m a nurse & had the most embarrassing moment of my life at work – my wardrobe malfunction left me in tears, I quit
A NURSE who had the most embarrassing moment of her life at work has finally found peace with the event.
But it’s taken her a year to get there, and her wardrobe malfunction was so mortifying and epic that it left her in floods of tears.
So excruciating did she find the experience that she considered quitting for a fleeting moment.
She managed to pull it together, however, and continues to work as a nurse.
That doesn’t mean the memory does not remain raw.
“Almost a year ago I had one of the most embarrassing moments of my life,” said Nurse Mila (@milanajvar).
In addition to nursing, she is a mom and mountain enthusiast.
Fleeing for the mountains must have seemed an attractive prospect after her monumental uniform fail.
Twelve months down the line, she shared the sorry episode in her post.
Despairing, she cried, “Oh my God,” and then bent over and the damage was clear for all to see.
There was a huge and almighty split in her trousers at the back, exposing her butt.
“I don’t know who all saw my a** but it’s not been a good start to the shift,” she said.
“I’m quitting,” she spluttered as she sobbed away.
Fortunately, this busy nurse had a strategy: “I changed into spares, always keep spares,” she said.
“Enough time has passed. I think I can finally share the absolute most embarrassing shift ever.
“It took a year to accept,” she admitted to viewers, who were wholly sympathetic to her plight.
One commenter said: “Don’t be embarrassed. You didn’t notice since you were working so hard girl.”
Another felt her pain: “I would immediately just walk out and find a different job.”
But there were benefits for this viewer: “This happened to me when I worked at a coffee stand I was wondering why my tips were really good that night.”
And look on the bright side, said this fan, it could have been worse.
“As long as you weren’t commando you’ll be fine. Laugh at the memory.”
