THE Prince of Wales takes his duty to serve literally — by dishing up Christmas lunch for a homeless charity.

William, 41, wore an apron as he chatted to staff, gave out soup and rolls and shared a joke with those eating at The Passage, in central London.

He is a patron of the charity — which he first visited in 1993 with his mother Princess Diana.

George, Charlotte and Louis helped mum Kate at a Baby Bank sorting Christmas gifts for children in need.

In a video posted online Kate explained to her trio they were becoming “volunteers” for the day.

In the clip, the royal kids were tasked to help find Christmas presents for children their age at a Baby Bank near their home.

Footage shows the four of them arrive by car and Louis claps in delight as they heave goodies from the boot.

The heartfelt short video saw the three royal youngsters get excited about helping out as they giggled and chose the perfect gifts.

A staff member said: “Come and see what we do.”

Kate tells the children: “Here there’s lots of people who give up their time and there are lots of volunteers who come and help out. As you’re the volunteers this evening.”
