Aylen Park and her mother appeared together in a video posted on TikTok, where the stunning mum shared some of her top secrets behind the radiant complexion.
Hydration is key
According to the stunning parent, there are a few things to keep in mind but one of the main anti-ageing tips in staying hydrated at all times.
Making sure your water intake is on point – according to Mayo Clinic, you should aim for 2-3 litres of water a day – will help to maintain your skin’s elasticity.
”People who drink large amounts of water are less likely to suffer from scars, wrinkles, and soft lines and they won’t show as many signs of aging as those who drink little amounts of water,” experts at Pure Luxe Medical explained.
What’s more, by drinking ample amounts of water on a daily basis, you can tighten your skin, maintain a healthy glow and flush out any nasty toxins from your body.
Sunscreen
The mum’s second top skincare tip was never skipping sunscreen – which, according to professionals, should be applied even on cloudy winter days.
While the sunrays may not feel as warm or strong on your skin during the harsh winter months, its ultraviolet rays continue to break down your skin cells, resulting in a condition called photoaging, Manhattan Dermatology warned.
Premature ageing is what’s behind the majority of the first visible signs of ageing, including fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration and sunspots.
By skipping this important step regardless of the season, you are also increasing your risk of skin cancer, the cause of death of over 2,300 people every year in the UK, Cancer Research reported.
”My mum loves sunscreen, she uses it religiously,” Aylen told her followers in the clip.
80p bargain from Primark
As well as keeping on top of her water intake, the 50-year-old likes to use sheet masks that provide her skin with hydration.
Although the high street is full of of these, some of the cheaper options include PS… Marine Algae And Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask, PS… Red Algae Sheet Mask, as well as PS… Vitamin E Plumping Sheet Mask, all of which can be found in Primark for 80p.
Other affordable buys are Boots Sheet Mask with Added Glycolic Acid that’s selling for a quid, and Boots Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask, also £1.
Amazed by how good Aylen’s mother looked, hundreds raced to comments to share their thoughts.
Someone exclaimed: ”What?!!! There’s no way she’s 50! Stunning.”
Another chimed in: ”GIRL UR [your] MOM IS GLOWING.”
”I THOUGHT YALL WERE SISTERS WHAT,” a person was totally baffled by the beauty.
”Mama is gorgeous as always,” a fourth chimed in.
