Coastal town just two hours from the UK with hidden beaches, James Bond villa and A-lister fans
A SMALL holiday hotspot, popular with A-list celebs, can be easily reached from the UK.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Margot Robbie are among the bigger names to have visited for a break, with secluded beaches and luxury hotels found dotted along the coast.

Antibes in the south of France is just a two-hour flight away, but is worlds apart from most seaside towns found in Britain.
Yachts are extremely popular with those who visit during the warm summer months, with See Antibes describing the town as “one of the biggest luxury yachting centres on earth”.
The luxury vessels can be seen moored in the huge marina, with the likes of Amazon entrepreneur Jeff Bezos known to park up on occasion.
One of the biggest draws of Antibes is its hidden beaches, with plenty found tucked away along walking routes.
See Antibes described them as “rocky, quiet coves” with “crystal clear waters”.
They said: “The hidden beaches of Cap d’Antibes are wild and beautiful, offering a seclusion and crystal clear waters difficult to find on the town beaches in mid-summer.
“These are rocky, quiet coves with hidden bathing platforms cut into the rock and stunning views but no facilities whatsoever. You’ll often face a bit of a hike getting to them as well.”
Because of the types of people who visit the area, the town is home to plenty of luxury accommodation choices, often compared to the type of place James Bond might stay.
In fact, not far away from the town centre, a private rental home called James Bond Villa can be booked from around £705 per night.
It has six bedrooms, four bathrooms and sleeps 12 guests and has a private swimming pool, an indoor jacuzzi, a sauna and a gym, as well as a tropical garden with its own waterfall.
However, it’s another luxury accommodation option that might get Bond fans more excited.
The Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is described by one former guest as “simply the most gorgeous and classy hotel in the world” on TripAdvisor.
And it can be found very close to where an iconic scene from a classic Bond movie was filmed.
Artisan of Leisure explained: “For Bond-style glamour on the Cote d’Azur, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is one of our favourite luxury hotels.
“Bond fans will remember the opening scene of Diamonds are Forever (1971) with Sean Connery, filmed nearby at a private beach on Cap d’Antibes.”
Other reasons to visit Antibes include the old town, or “Vieille Ville d’Antibes,” which picked up a TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award this year.
Absolutly described the ancient walled area as a “hidden gem that visitors shouldn’t miss”.
They added: “This historic area, surrounded by ancient walls, is full of winding streets, quaint shops and atmospheric cafes that offer a glimpse into the town’s past.”
EasyJet offer return flights to Antibes from around £100, while a night in the town for two can be booked from £50.
Meanwhile, these are the UK holiday destinations most popular with celebrities.
And this Spanish town is also a favourite among A-listers because of its sunny weather.
