Mum says she’s ‘found the best Christmas gift for teachers’, and it’s less than £4 in Morrisons after price was slashed
WITH money tight, and a whole load of people to buy Christmas presents for, teachers can end up being forgotten about.
But one mum claims to have found the perfect gift for your kids’ teachers, in her local Morrisons.
Naomi said she found the perfect gift for teachers in her local Morrisons[/caption]“So I popped in Morrisons today and I saw these gift sets that was reduced from £7.50 to just £3.75,” Naomi said in her TikTok video.
She then held up the Cussons’ Dashchund through the Snow gift set.
“Inside you get a shower gel, a bath soak and an eye mask,” she added.
“Bargain!”
And loads of people said the gift set would make a lovely Christmas present for anyone.
“I think that’s a lovely gift,” one wrote.
As another added: “I’d love this!”
You can also get the gift sets in Tesco too, it seems, as a third commented: “I just brought these for £3 from Tesco.”
Others weren’t quite as sure that the gift would be appreciated.
“It’s not even worth £3.75 though,” one wrote.
As another added: “Will go straight to the charity shop or regifted!”
To which someone else hit back: “Just means it’ll go to someone who loves them either way.
“And money will go to charity.
“Win win really!”
If you don’t want to buy a gift set, you could try and make your own.
That’s what mum Alyssa did.
Alyssa initially used a Stanley cup and included a £20 Starbucks gift card to make a present worth a pricey £70.
However, after she was blasted for not being “relatable” enough creating the gift, she decided to show in another video on her TikTok page that she can make a similar one on a budget too.
She began by hunting for a cup to put the goodies in – finding some at a cheap store but admitting they “aren’t great”, so she kept on looking.
Alyssa eventually found some reduced cups in her local TJ Maxx, for just £4.50 each, so grabbed three – one red, one silver and one green.
She then picked up some individually wrapped chocolates, some shredded paper, some ribbon and a pack of three hand creams.
And on the way home, she popped to her local Starbucks to grab three £4.50 gift cards.
“Now put these little cuties together!” Alyssa said when she was home.
She began by putting in the shredded paper and some of the chocolates, before wedging the gift card and hand cream in.
She also added a cute Christmas decoration on the side of the cup, and some festive ribbon on the straw.
Alyssa concluded by revealing that the gifts had cost her just £12.21 each.
“They are so dang cute,” she gushed.
“And remember guys, this is an idea.
“It’s the thought that counts.”
