First look at Celebrity Cooking School line-up as drug shame Scotty T makes explosive return to TV
ANN Widdecombe and Nancy Dell’Olio lead the new class of Celebrity Cooking School in my first look at the second series.
They are among 10 self-confessed kitchen calamities who will battle it out on the E4 show from January.
Also competing will be dancer Louie Spence, Towie’s James ‘Arg’ Argent, Made in Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley and Celebs Go Dating’s Spudzz.
Telly drag queen Blu Hydrangea, actress Ruth Codd and rapper Nadia Rose also appear.
And Geordie Shore star Scotty T will make his TV comeback after a drug scandal.
Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli judges while Melvin Odoom hosts.
Katie Price crashed out of the line-up days before filming.
There’s more than enough mayhem without her, if this picture is anything to go by.
Reacher returns
SEASON two of Prime Video’s action series Reacher drops tomorrow.
And to celebrate, the streaming service has teamed up with Barry’s Bootcamp to offer free classes with the show’s stunt coordinator Buster Reeves.
Classes will run until the end of the week across the UK.
Game on Stephen
THERE’S a reason why Stephen Fry is presenting Jeopardy!, not competing on it – he already has too many game show trophies.
Stephen has taken part in his fair share of TV quizzes.
He said: “I was lucky enough to be on University Challenge and a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire special, and I have my Celebrity Mastermind crystal winner’s bowl to polish.”
The ITV1 reboot launches on New Year’s Day.
Sue's still standing
THE Royle Family star Sue Johnston is glad her role as one of a gang of old pals in Ch4 drama Truelove is a far cry from those usually given to over 70s.
She joked: “I spend a lot of time dying in beds, being somebody’s frail old granny – but we’re still standing.”
The six- parter starts on January 3.
Demi left in a flap
MAGICIAN Dynamo amazes singer Demi Lovato tonight after they chat about her mental health struggles.
He then asks her to pick a word from a book – and releases a cloud of butterflies from its pages, telling her: “You can say the word out loud – butterflies.”
Stunned Demi, whose father died in 2013, says: “I have no idea how you did that. Maybe that butterfly is my dad.”
Dynamo Is Dead is at 9pm on Sky Max.
Comics go in hard
CHRIS Ramsey and Paul Chowdhry turn into Die Hard’s John McClane for a Sky Max special.
The comics recreated stunts from the 1989 film, starring Bruce Willis as tough guy John and Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber.
But while it might be cool to pull on the action hero’s grubby white vest, the behind-the-scenes reality was very different.
Paul says: “We have to jump off the top of the building, so you start low, but then go higher and higher.
“The multiple landings onto the mat, you get that sickness feeling – and there’s whiplash, when you land, in the back of your neck, and pain in the back.
“I couldn’t remember my own name by the end – that was quite scary.”
The Unofficial Science of Die Hard airs on Sunday.
