Promising off-spinner Shoaib Bashir was surprised when he received a missed call from a New Zealand dialing code number, which turned out to be from former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum. Bashir was named in the 16-person Test squad for the India tour. He has a variety of bowling techniques and is confident they will work well in India. In his brief career, he has taken 10 wickets for Somerset. Bashir is excited to be working with former players Andrew Flintoff and Graeme Swann.
