Christmas 2023: These restaurants are selling take-home feasts

Most restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day, which falls on a Monday this year, but some chains are offering take-home feasts with turkey, ham or prime rib throughout the holiday season.

Most of the meals are heat-and-serve and will require two to three hours for preparation as well as ordering in advance. Check with the restaurant chains on their requirements.

Claim Jumper Restaurant & Saloon: Holiday platters serve six to eight people and feature roasted turkey, smoked ham or both with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables and pie. Prices are around $135-$145. claimjumper.com

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Holiday heat-and-serve dinners with ham cost $139.99 for four to six people and $189.99 for eight to 10 people. Prime rib dinners cost $159.99 and serve four to six people. Pickup is Dec. 21-28. Stores will be closed Christmas Day. crackerbarrel.com
