Mumbai Indians have announced Hardik Pandya as their new captain for the 2024 season, following his move from Gujarat Titans. Pandya, a renowned all-rounder, was expected to replace Rohit Sharma, the longest-serving captain of the team. The 30-year-old, who has guided Gujarat to IPL title, has been a favorite to lead the team as per former Mumbai Indians teammate Martin Guptill.
