ISU Short Track World Cup kicks off in Seoul

SEOUL, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- The 2023-24 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup kicked off here on Friday, with Chinese skaters successfully advancing in individual events.

Liu Shaolin and Liu Shaoang maintained steady performances in the men's 1,000m preliminaries and heats, advancing to the quarterfinals. Ren Ziwei ranked third in the men's 1,000m heat and is set to compete in repechage on Saturday.
