‘He undermines and belittles her at every chance’ rant furious Ferne McCann fans who tell her to ‘dump fiance Lorri’
FERNE McCann’s followers have expressed concern about her fiancé Lorri following the latest series of their show.
This series of My Family and Me followed a heavily pregnant Ferne get ready to welcome her first child with her fiancé and then give birth to their daughter Finty.
Like with any new parents, the couple have had their ups and down, but many fans have turned against Lorri branding him a “control freak”, who “belittles her”.
In one scene Ferne was left upset after he told her off in front of their business team.
On another occasion Lorri was seen telling Ferne and Sunday they were being rude for delaying his breakfast.
Other ‘red flags’ for fans were when he told her he didn’t want to have sex any more and argued with her when he hadn’t slept enough.
Taking to Instagram about his behaviour in the series, one person wrote: “Speaks to her like absolute crap when she is heavily pregnant in front of cameras. Makes you wonder what he’s like behind closed doors….this programme is not a good watch anymore.”
A second added: “But you’ve been a complete d**k to Ferne on this programme. Undermining and belittling her at her most vulnerable about to give birth and now you’re slagging your mum off!!”
“Lorri is showing his true colours an he’s not very nice,” wrote a third.
And a fourth added: “He’s a control freak. Way he spoke to her when about to give birth and now this. This breast feeding thing? Soo many red flags.”
Someone else commented: “I can’t see them staying together. He’s so negative towards her. You deserve better my darling.”
Ferne and Lorrie started dating in 2021 and soon fell head over heels.
They announced their engagement last summer, with Ferne saying at the time: “So happily ever afters do exist.
“I cannot wait to do forever with you baby.”
