Emily Blunt Goes Sky High in Suede Jimmy Choo Mionne Platforms for Q&A in Los Angeles
Emily Blunt attended a Q&A in her honor hosted by the Film Independent held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Reaching new heights, the “A Quiet Place” star stepped into a pair of black platform sandals from Jimmy Choo. The Mionne lofty style featured textural suede black uppers that transitioned into breezy rounded and open toes and thick and sturdy ankle straps that sat atop Blunt’s toes and around her ankles, securing the pair in place. Ornate rhinestoned buckle closures fastened the ankle straps in place while offering Blunt’s footwear a dazzling touch. The shoe originally retails for $1,050 and is also available in a white colorway.
The neutral-toned footwear was situated atop thick platform soles accompanied by 4.7-inch block heels. The platform trend is beloved by many top stars, Blunt included. What’s more? The height-boosting footwear is exceedingly accessible given that many high and low-end brands have stocked platform styles including the likes of Versace, Marc Jacobs and Aldo.
Accompanying her sky-high footwear, Blunt was outfitted in a blue, white, black and green floral-printed dress from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. The garment featured a high-low hem and ruching running down the front just below the bodice.
Additionally, the style was bodycon and included slouchy long sleeves. Accessorizing her look, Blunt wore mini hoops fitted with silver studded detailing, giving her outfit a shiny touch. The “Jungle Cruise” actress wore her lengthy blond tresses parted down the middle and straightened.
Blunt’s shoe style is similarly sleek. The actress can regularly be seen in a range of pointed-toe ankle and over-the-knee boots, as well as velvet sandals and elegant mules, by top designers like Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, and Roger Vivier. Affordable brands like Sam Edelman, Schutz and Nanette Lepore also appear in her rotation.
