Heartbroken Kerry Katona says goodbye to childhood sweetheart after his tragic death
KERRY Katona has been left heartbroken over the tragic death of her childhood sweetheart.
The TV personality, 43, revealed that her friend Deano was the first boy to ever “break” her heart.
Kerry told her social to share the sad news as she posted a photo of her good pal and captioned it “RIP”, followed by a broken love heart.
She then shared a touching message, which read: “You’ll always be forever in our hearts, so many funny crazy memories we all made together.
“As sad as it was saying goodbye to you today, it was so good to catch up with old friends and reminisce about all the funny crazy s***we all got up to.
“Always in our hearts.
“What a surreal and sad day, said goodbye today to one of my childhood friends.
“First boy ever to break my heart ‘Deano’.”
Kerry, who is currently playing the Wicked Queen in production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, then added: “Honestly don’t know how the hell I just got through that last show,” referencing her final panto performance last night.
The singer then shared a photo of her putting on a brave face and smiling alongside her co-stars.
Kerry has had a rough December after she was forced to rush her nine-year-old daughter DJ to hospital earlier this month.
She said on her Instagram story: “Poor baby girl second day.
“Soooo DJ has been really poorly had to leave rehearsals and stay in hospital with her…
“But she’s on mend and hopefully will be home soon.”
It comes days after Kerry revealed that DJ had to have an MRI scan after “suffering fainting” spells at home.
The mum-of-five said that the family were still awaiting the results, but has been told by a doctor that the scan has “something”.
Kerry explained in her latest OK! column that the tragic death of TV star Annabel Giles had added to her health anxiety.
She then opened up about DJ’s health scare.
Months prior, Kerry revealed that DJ had collapsed while they were away in Turkey.
Kerry is also mum to Molly and Lily-Sue, who are from her previous marriage to Brian McFadden.
She also shares Heidi Elizabeth and Maxwell Mark with ex Mark Croft.
