Man killed after van mowed down group of people in town centre
A man has died after a van drove into a group of people in Ilkeston this morning.
Emergency services were called to Market Place at around 2.10am, but the man died at the scene.
Two other people have been treated for injuries at hospital.
They are not thought to be serious.
One man, believed to be the driver of the van, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody.
Derbyshire Police has said they do not believe the incident is terrorism related, and they are not looking for anyone else.
