The East-West Yatra is being planned to be from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat and it could be in hybride manner - partly by foot and by vehicles - and is being planned to be part of the Congress mobilisation for the Lok Sabha elections. The yatra is expected to build a campaign against the "BJP's communal politics" and would highlight the bread and butter issues, including the unemployment issue of the youth.
