When introducing himself, he revealed that his name is “Solskjaer”.
In the clip shared by Five, his confused date replied: “What?”
She then asked: “Where are you from?
To which he responded: “I am full Singaporean Chinese.”
Solskjaer, named after Man Utd’s 1999 Champions League final hero Ole Gunnar, then added: “But my parents were soccer fans.”
Still none the wiser, his date asked: “Who was Solskjaer in soccer?”
He then explained: “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He was a player but then he became a manager but then retired.”
After the date, his date said he looked “pretty decent” in addition to being “tall” and a “nice guy”.
