Video: George Santos says he's 'not ruling out' running for office again

Disgraced former GOP Congress Member George Santos told a comedian interviewer Monday he's not entirely done with politics.

When Ziwe asked if Santos (formerly R-NY) would run for office again, he replied: "Not now, but in the future I'm not ruling it out."

Ziwe also wanted to know if the former New York representative would run as a Republican. Santos, again, was less than direct.

"The country needs more independent thinkers now," Santos said.

Ziwe, whose interview can be found on YouTube, made the point that since Santos has been embraced by Gen Z, he should run as a Democrat, but he disagreed.

"Gen Z loves Trump! They love Trump," Santos said. "He's an icon."
