The 2nd George Pyrich OTB Allegro Championship Series took place at Perth Chess Club, on Monday 18th December 23, 7:30pm.
Format: 5 round Swiss, 15 minutes each player
Castlehill would like to congratulate Ed Spencer (Dundee) on winning the 2nd George Pyrich OTB Allegro at Perth, unbeaten on 5 points. Well played Ed!
Congratulations also go to Castlehill`s very own, Vladyslav Drabych who finished in runner-up spot for the 2nd time on 4 points!
This puts Vladyslav in 1st place on 9½ points in the overall standings after two events! Come on Vladyslav!
A big thank you to our hosts, Perth Chess Club, and all their helpers on the night, including David Hall, John Shovlin & James Graham and others, who pulled out all the stops to make it a night to remember once again!

Vladyslav also leads the J.R.Chalmers Grand Prix Memorial Cup on 14½ points!
