Woman in her 40s ‘looks 10 years younger’ thanks to homemade ‘Botox bar’ that costs pennies & leaves skin flawless
A BEAUTY pro in her 40s who looks 10 years younger has shared a simple anti-ageing hack that costs just pennies to make.
42-year-old Kate shared the hack via a video posted to her TikTok account, where she is known as @yourmategingerkate and often posts anti-ageing tips and tricks.
In the video, the skincare whizz said: “You guys know I like to freeze my skincare.
“Today we are here for the Botox bar”.
Kate explained that she makes her ‘Botox bar’ by freezing her homemade flaxseed serum.
In a previous video, Kate explained that she makes flaxseed gel by boiling flaxseeds in water.
She then turns her gel into a ‘serum’ by adding two tablespoons of castor oil, two drops of frankincense and some rose oil.
After adding all of her ingredients, she blends the mixture together to make an anti-ageing cream.
Kate explained that after freezing her serum to create the ‘Botox bar’ she rubs it onto her face each morning to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
She said: “Run it all around your eyes, all across your forehead and down your neck as well.
“This is going to tighten and firm the skin.”
She continued: “Once you’re done, you’re going to pat your skin dry and you will already see and feel the difference”.
Kate explained that the benefits of flaxseed are that it is rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids which can help nourish and hydrate the skin. She added that the seeds, which can be purchased very cheaply from any supermarket also contain anti-oxidants that promote skin health.
The anti-ageing pro added that castor oil helps to reduce fine lines and promotes skin elasticity and frankincense is also full of anti-oxidants.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to praise Kate for her anti-ageing hack.
