Colorado cattle industry plea to postpone wolf reintroduction denied

DENVER, Colorado: A federal judge denied a request on December 15 from Colorado's cattle industry to postpone the release of gray wolves, effectively allowing the reintroduction of the species to the state.

Judge Regina Rodriguez's ruling allowed Colorado to proceed with its voter-approved plan to find, capture and transport up to 10 wolves from Oregon starting December 17, and the animals could be in the state
