Geordie Shore feud explodes as star snubs cast members – and flees the country for show launch
GEORDIE Shore’s ugly feud between Charlotte Crosby and her fellow cast members Marnie Simpson and Chloe Ferry shows no sign of ending as she is set to snub the show’s upcoming press launch.
The Sun can exclusively reveal Charlotte will fly out of the country instead of attending the press screening for the upcoming series in January, where she would have had to face her former pals.
A source told The Sun: “Charlotte did not want to be in the same room as the rest of the cast as filming the most recent series was very painful for her.
“She is really upset about how it all went down and the circumstances under which she decided to leave the show.
“She also didn’t want to have to face questions from the press about the various feuds and fallouts, so decided to jet out of the country instead with fiancee Jake and daughter Alba.”
When contacted by The Sun, reps for both MTV and Charlotte insisted Charlotte’s holiday was pre-booked before the screening was finalised.
However, we’re told several cast members are relieved Charlotte will not be there.
“They were worried it was going to be really awkward, so they breathed a sigh of relief when they heard Charlotte wouldn’t be coming.
“A lot of them don’t buy the holiday excuse though, they think she would have always found a way to get out of it.”
Reality star Charlotte quit the MTV show “forever” following a huge row during filming for the new series.
The 33-year-old dramatically left Cyprus – where the cast were shooting – after just two days this summer.
She had brought her boyfriend Jake Ankers and their daughter Alba, now 10 months, out on the filming trip – which she admits now was a bad decision.
Charlotte has since opened up about the dramatic incident.
Insisting there’s no going back for her, Charlotte began bawling on her Always On podcast.
She said: “It just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don’t know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird.
“I’m sad for loads of reasons. I’m sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, into a show that I loved so much and it went so badly wrong.
“I feel like I could cry talking about it. I felt an immense amount of guilt for not knowing better. I just thought we were going to have such a good time.”
