‘Untimely’ death in Waterbury under investigation as homicide, police say
Police are investigating the death of a man found lying on the ground unresponsive on First Avenue in Waterbury early Friday morning.
At 4:33 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the area outside of 27 First Ave., according to the Waterbury Police Department.
Officers located the adult male who was pronounced dead on the scene by medical personnel, police said. The man has not been identified.
According to police, the untimely death is now being investigated as a homicide.
