A recent gruesome case has been reported in the United States where a black woman was fatally shot dead by a Los Angeles county sheriff’s deputy after she called 911 to report that she was under attack by a former boyfriend, police officials and lawyers for the victim’s family said. The LASD has claimed that the victim, Niani Finlayson, had a knife and was threatening her boyfriend because of which deputy Ty Shelton had to open fire. Finlayson’s family has filed a legal claim against the county and sheriff’s department on Thursday.
