Laura Lynch ‘death’ updates — Dixie Chicks fans devastated after reports singer died in car crash as tributes roll in
DIXIE Chicks founding member Laura Lynch has reportedly died in a tragic car crash.
Mick Lynch, the cousin of the musician, told TMZ that Laura tragically lost her life on Friday, just outside of El Paso, Texas, shortly after sunset.
She was reportedly driving from El Paso to the nearby Dell City, approximately an hour and a half to the East, when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Reports indicate that she was involved in a collision while traveling on a highway.
The singer was best known for having co-founded music group The Dixie Chicks with Robin Lynn Macy, Martie Erwin, and Emily Erwin in 1989.
Laura was 65 at the time of her reported death.
