But one dermatologist shared her solution to a common problem.

A dermatologist said that years ago she ruined her eyebrows by overplucking

If you fell victim to the thin eyebrow look of decades past, fear not, as Doctor Abby (@drabby6), who is a dermatologist and an assistant professor at Harvard, said there’s a fix.

In the clip, she admitted that her looks needed some revamping.

“As an elder Millennial, my eyebrows took a beating from the ‘90s over-plucked eyebrow trend,” she wrote in the caption.

Looking at her full brows now, however, one would never detect that they were ever lacking.

And that’s all because of her newfound routine.

“Finally grew them back by adding Rogaine (minoxidil) three times a week.”

Although most people think of Rogaine as a treatment for the hair on your scalp, it works well for brows too.

All she did was apply a small amount to her eyebrow brush and comb out each side evenly.

Three times a week, once or twice a day, is all you need, as she said if you use it too often, you might see “redness and irritation.”

The results, which took about one to two months, led Doctor Abby to say she “wish [she] had known about it earlier.”

After a commenter asked if you need to continuously use it to maintain bushy brows, she said you did.

Some viewers backed her claim and praised her for it, while others shared their own hacks.

“I’ve been using minoxidil every night for about 11 months and I can say it does work, but it takes time,” one person wrote.

“This needs to go viral,” added another.

“I use castor oil and it has been amazing,” a third shared.
