Halle Berry Is an Absolute Mood While Prepping for the Christmas Holiday

We don’t have to remind you of this, but it bears repeating just how much prepping goes into the Christmas holiday. Food, presents, decorations — you name it, we know you’ve stressed over getting every detail just right. But there’s one element of holiday prep we sometimes forget: the prep necessary to make sure we look our best on the holiday. We’re so accustomed to seeing our favorite celebs perfectly polished on any given occasion. But this Christmas, Halle Berry gave fans a look at her holiday prep and it is relatable AF.

We’ve never identified more with the Monster’s Ball Oscar-winner than in her latest post to Instagram. In the selfie snapshot, Berry’s reclined on her bed doing her Knesko Skin self-care routine, complete with face mask and lip mask. Berry’s hair is pulled back in the photo, so that her face and lip mask can really get to work. Seeing Berry make-up free and donning her skincare necessities was enough for us to point and say, “Same, girl.” But what really did it for us was Berry’s simply sardonic caption.

“Here I come Christmas,” Berry’s caption to the above post reads. And with that, the actress and Bruised filmmaker became the most relatable celeb of the day. Berry’s post seriously reminded us of all the effort we have to put in to make ourselves look holiday ready.

It’s never easy. The holidays are a super-stressful time. There’s so much to do, so many tasks and gifts to check off our lists. And then we still need to find time to take care of ourselves too! Those moments should be a respite from the chaos of the season, giving us as much time to reflect as it does time to give our body a break. We know Berry will be ready for Christmas, just like the rest of us. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have a skincare routine to get to.
