In her video, Liz Lovery (@lizlovery) shared her secret to carrying out a no-mess tree removal.
The interior design pro revealed the budget-friendly Amazon product she used to easily take down her tree.
Liz purchased a clear Christmas tree removal bag from Elftastic for just $9.95.
She recommended the item “if you have a real Christmas tree and hate when the pine needles get everywhere when you take it out.
“I highly recommend getting one of these Christmas tree disposal bags,” Liz told her followers.
She demonstrated how to easily wrap up your tree in the large plastic bag.
Liz stood on a step ladder to cover the tree from top to bottom before tying the ends.
She described the product as both a “game-changer” and a “life-saver.”
The decor expert pointed out that the bag is ideal for anyone living in an apartment complex.
Dragging your tree down your stairwell or elevator will no longer leave a trail of needles.
“We dropped it off at a Christmas tree recycling center and saved the bag for next year,” Liz said.
“We live in an apartment and [are] required to dispose this way,” she explained.
“They really make a huge difference,” Liz concluded.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.
“My first thought was ‘Oh, that’s awesome and you can reuse it too,'” wrote one viewer.
“Put the bag open under the tree next year, you cover it with the tree skirt,” suggested another follower.
“Yes and then you use the vacuum and suck the air out of it, making it easier to move,” commented a third person.
