West Ham Fans Should – Richard Keys Gives Hammers Supporters Advice

Richard Keys has told West Ham United fans they should be careful what they wish for amid the likely exit of manager David Moyes in the summer.

Moyes’ contract at the London Stadium is set to expire in the summer and the club have not offered him an extension, with suggestions that it will need a superb second half of the season to see him keep his job.

The Scot led West Ham to success in the Europa Conference League and has had them competing in the top half of the Premier League table for most of his recent time in charge.

Keys thinks that Moyes has changed the narrative around West Ham and Hammers fans should carefully think about what life without the manager would look like.

He believes that if Moyes does go in the summer then it would leave a massive gap at the London Stadium.

Keys said on beIN SPORTS: “These days we associate West Ham with top eight finishes, with winning European trophies, with pitching in seriously and making attempts to win domestic competitions; which they have done, whichever way you look at it, prior to the defeat at Anfield.

“I think that West Ham fans should be a little careful in what they wish for.

“At the moment he is leaving at the end of the season and that would leave a huge gap for me.”

West Ham have won three of their last four games across all competitions, but Moyes attracted some criticism last week when he fielded a much-changed side against Liverpool in the EFL Cup quarter-final.

The Hammers went down to a 5-1 loss on Merseyside.
