Northern India faced a stronger cold wave, making Monday morning in the capital city even colder with thick fog. The India Meteorological Department recorded Delhi's temperature at 9.4 degrees Celsius. Visibility reduced to 125 meters in various parts of Delhi and most areas in the National Capital Region also had poor visibility due to the fog.
