I got lip blush but my husband told me I look like a Bratz doll – it’s totally giving Jeff Fungus from Monsters Inc
A WOMAN has left social media users in stitches after revealing her husband’s reaction to the lip blush treatment she had at a local beauty salon.
The beauty fan named Whitney Leavitt, who is a mum-of-two from the US, documented her journey from receiving the treatment, to showing it off to her partner Connor back at home.
And while he compared her to a Bratz doll, she admitted she was left looking life Jeff Fungus from Monsters Inc, who is Randall Boggs’ former assistant and known for his very large lips.
In the clip posted to TikTok (@whitneyleavitt), she says: “My husband’s reaction to my new lips.”
The beauty fan can then be seen covering her lips with her hand as she looks in the mirror, before shaking her head in a disapproving fashion.
Moments later, she shows herself lying down in a beauty salon while having lip blush, which is a cosmetic procedure that uses a machine to implant colour pigment into the dermis of the lips.
It is often favoured by anyone looking to enhance their lip colour and to create an illusion of fuller lips without adding fillers.
However once back home, her husband can be seen casually making a cup of tea in the kitchen when Whitney walks in with her new, bright pink lips.
“Alright, just show me,” he asks.
Whitney then reluctantly removes her hand to show off the results of the treatment – and it’s fair to say her lips look like they’ve almost doubled in size.
Holding back his laughter, he blurts out: “Baby – you look like a Bratz doll.
Lost for words, Whitney asks: “Connor, what did I do?”
He jokes: “You look beautiful though…I’m sure the swelling will go down…in a month. You look great.”
As he goes to give her a reassuring hug, she holds up her hand to stop him and says: “You can’t kiss me…48 hours.”
Looking at her newly enhanced lips, he amusingly responds: “I wouldn’t want to!”
She captioned the post: “It’s giving Jeff Fungus from Monsters Inc. hahahahahahha.”
The post has since gone viral, garnering a whopping 3.5 million views and several comments from very amused social media users.
“Cancelling my lip blush apt asap,” wrote one.
A second penned: “I could see her mouth in the windows reflection behind him.”
A third commented: “Mine were 3xs the normal size but the swelling went down over night, but my eyebrows…. Girl my husband called me angry bird for weeks.”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “This cured me of ever wanting lip filler.”
