Premier League Side Doing Homework On Leeds United Star
Brighton & Hove Albion are doing their homework on Leeds United wide man Crysencio Summerville as they eye him as a replacement for Kaoru Mitoma, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Summerville has been a revelation for Leeds in the Championship this season and has been a presence in front of goal.
He has featured in 20 of Leeds’ 23 league games so far, having made 17 goal contributions.
Summerville is therefore regarded as one of Leeds’ prizes possessions and the Whites are not keen to let him go in the January transfer window.
However, Brighton have their eyes on the player and are doing their homework before making a move.
Brighton currently have Mitoma playing for them down the wing, but the Seagulls are preparing for life without the Japanese and Summerville would help them fill those boots.
However, if Leeds go up then taking Summerville out of Elland Road could be borderline impossible for Brighton.
If Leeds miss out on promotion however then the Whites could take the decision to cash in on the winger.
