The Bishkek City Court on December 28 rejected appeals against prolonging the detention of 11 jailed Kyrgyz politicians, journalists, and activists who are on trial along with other 16 people who are under house arrest over their protest last year against a Kyrgyz-Uzbek border delimitation deal.
