Representing Coronation Street was Jack P Shepherd, Channique Sterling-Brown who plays Dee-Dee Bailey and Tony Maudsley who stars as George Shuttleworth.
Their rivals were Amy Wyatt star Natalie Ann Jamieson and Kevin Mathurin (Charles Anderson) alongside their team captain Mark Charnock.
But during the rounds Channique revealed she could have actually been a permanent fixture in Emmerdale.
Host Stephen Mulhern was the first to bring the matter up, turning to the Dee-Dee star.
Stephen said: “By the way a little birdie tells me you could have actually been on the other team.”
She then revealed: “I could’ve been your daughter Kevin [Mathurin],” before adding: “I didn’t get the job.”
Viewers at home were left stunned at the news and took to social media to comment.
One said: “Dee Dee from #Corrie could have been Charles from #Emmerdale daughter!”
A second posted: “The way Dee Dee could’ve been in the Dales and not Weatherfield.”
Channique’s character Dee-Dee recently learned the true extent of her father Ed’s gambling addiction.
She and Michael were led to believe their Christmas Day presents were stolen in a robbery.
However, thanks to CCTV they discovered that Ed had instead pawned them in order to payback a loan shark.
