Danny Cipriani’s estranged wife Victoria admits her year ‘didn’t turn out’ as she ‘had anticipated’ in emotional post
DANNY Cipriani’s estranged wife Victoria Rose has shared a lengthy and emotional post about the “extreme pain” she has endured this year.
Victoria, 42, has told her supporters that 2023 ‘didn’t turn out as she’d anticipated’ in the long message.
The heartbroken healthcare campaigner has also warned how life can “change in a heartbeat”.
Ex rugby star Danny, 36, and Victoria announced they had split last month after two years of marriage.
He has since posed for cosy snaps with Strictly Come Dancing pro Jowita Przystal as they prepared to compete together in the Christmas special of the show.
Danny has also raised eyebrows with messages he publicly exchanged with Waterloo Road star Tilli Amartey, who also took part in the festive show.
Taking to her own Instagram account, Victoria has now posted a black and white photograph of herself with her pet dogs.
In an extremely lengthy post, she told her followers: “Life didn’t turn out as I had anticipated this year; however, next year, It will.
“I wanted to share what I’ve learned this year with you all because I think my story will help many, and I intend to help many. We all live on auto-pilot, on to the next thing without ever showing love and gratitude for the moment.
“If I could use the knowledge, love and peace I’ve found within myself to rewrite my story, it would be a different tale. I’ve spent these past few weeks looking at myself in the reflection, and boy, was it TOUGH!”
Victoria said she “never felt like the best mum, wife or friend” because she struggled to ‘love herself first’.
“I was a stress head; I was reactive and impulsive and constantly worrying about all the situations that could happen in the future, not realising that right now was all we ever had,” she explained.
Victoria went on: “I’ve been in extreme pain, and it was the universe screaming out to me to look at myself.
“I was given the same lessons over and over again. I can’t describe the heaviness upon my shoulders, the tears, the weight.”
Victoria finished by vowing to ‘step into her truth’ from now on, adding: “I can’t go and change the past but I can go forward and be the creator of my moment.”
She assured fans she “couldn’t be in a better place” and is “ready for 2024”.
Danny reportedly split from Victoria after she saw “messages on his phone”.
The Mail Online revealed that the pair separated in early November.
A source revealed to the publication that up until the summer, all had been well in the marriage.
But the insider added: “Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months.
“Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.
“They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage.”
Just nine days after confirming their split, Danny was spotted with Jowita they gazed into each other’s eyes.
