After 25 years of a leadership duopoly between Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje, Bhajan Lal Sharma has taken the reins as Rajasthan's Chief Minister. The BJP's decisive victory in the assembly polls secured 115 seats, sidelining Raje. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa were appointed deputy CMs. Gehlot's efforts for a CM nod if Congress won were overshadowed by the ongoing power struggle with former deputy Sachin Pilot.
