Soap fans stunned as Coronation Street and Emmerdale star pops up in EastEnders – did you spot it?
SOAP fans have been left stunned after a Coronation Street and Emmerdale star popped up in EastEnders.
Walford has been full of drama this week after ‘The Six’ covered up Keanu Taylor’s shock death on Christmas Day.
Keanu wasn’t the only victim in the Queen Vic, as Nish Panesar was also close to death after being smashed over the head with a champagne bottle by Denise Fox.
But wife Suki – despite her plans to leave him to be with true love Eve Unwin – gave him mouth-to-mouth and saved him, before he was rushed to hospital.
Once at A&E during Wednesday’s episode, Nish was dealt with by a team of doctors and nurses, but one in particular caught the attention of EastEnders viewers.
The blonde actress appeared familiar to many, with one writing on X: “Who was the blonde nurse in #eastenders tonight, seen her in something before.”
Another added: “Who’s that nurse in #Eastenders? I’ve seen her before.”
A third tweeted: “WHAT HAS THAT NURSE BEEN IN BEFORE??? Doing my head in.”
They soon got their answer as one viewer replied: “In emmerdale Jimmy Kings sons mother.”
A fellow soap fan added: “Juliette in Emmerdale? The Mum of Jimmy King’s son.”
Indeed, actress Amelia Curtis has appeared in so many well-known programmes over the years it’s no surprise viewers recognised her.
She played Juliette Holliday in Emmerdale on and off from 2014 to 2021, as well as a prosecution barrister in Coronation Street on a number of occasions between 2017 and 2020.
Amelia has also appeared in Casualty, Doctors, Holby City, Waterloo Road and The Royal among many other TV shows.
