ARSENAL have rejected an initial enquiry for striker Eddie Nketiah from Crystal Palace, according to reports.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are said to have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Ivan Toney, with Brentford boss Thomas Frank keen on keeping him until the summer.

Brentford have had to deal with their fair share of injury problems and will see Toney as integral in the second half of the season.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Matthijs de Ligt and Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck.
