BARGAIN hunters have been left totally stunned after a savvy shopper nabbed £135 of premium meat for only £13.
So if your fridge is looking a bit empty and you aren’t sure what to have for dinner tonight, you’ll need to run down to Tesco as quickly as you can to see if you can get your hands on this epic deal.
One Tesco shopper was left thrilled when he spotted that the luxury meat had been massively slashed.
Thrilled with his finds, Jack Thompson took to social media to alert other shoppers.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Jack shared a picture of his haul, alongside a snap of his receipt, as he penned: “Long time lurker first time poster…Genuinely well pleased with this.
“Summary: I understand why this costs the 45 quid it does, yet I shall never go as far as forking out the millions required for such a cut of meat ever again…
“Exquisite nonetheless.”
Jack confirmed that he nabbed three lots of Tesco’s Finest Northern Irish Aberdeen Angus Chateaubriand, each of which weighed 800g, at the superstore in Cookstown Broadfield.
Originally priced at an eye-watering £45 each, it’s no surprise that Jack was overjoyed when the packs of meat scanned at just £4.50 each – yes, you heard that correctly.
What should have cost Jack a staggering £135, thanks to an epic reduced to clear discount of £121.50, ended up costing the Tesco shopper a total of just £13.50.
Jack shared his post online just 20 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a staggering 1,500 likes and 174 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the reduced finds and were eager to express this in the comments.
