Four new UK attractions and holiday resorts opening next year – with lodges, waterparks and 4D cinemas
NOW that Christmas is behind us, it’s time to look beyond chilly January and February to get excited about the summer holidays.
And next year will see the opening of some major new attractions up and down the country.

Butlins – Maple Walk Village holiday lodges
Everyone’s favourite staycation resort, Bultins, recently revealed it will be opening a set of £12 million holiday lodges next summer.
Part of a huge renovation at the Butlin’s Skegness resort, the site will be called Maple Walk Village and include 128 lodges.
Each lodge will have three bedrooms, with the main one having a king-size bed and ensuite shower room. There will also be two twin rooms, as well as a fully equipped kitchen which has tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge.
The new lodges will be available to book for overnight stays from May 2024.

The plastic brick-themed adventure park unveiled its latest attraction earlier in 2023 – a brand-new Woodland Village, which is due to the public in May 2024.
Scattered across a 10-acre site will be 130 holiday lodges and 20 camping barrels.
These will be joined by The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar, which will serve up campfire-inspired grub in a woodland-themed setting.
Besides a new holiday park, rumours suggest work is well underway on a brand new ride at Legoland, too which is also slated for a 2024 opening.

Surrey-based theme park Thorpe Park, also launching a whole new land next year.
Replacing its Angry Birds land, Big Easy Boulevard will be a New Orleans-themed land with rides and a 4D cinema.
Drop tower ride Detonator will remain and be rebranded, along with the dodgems.
And Hyperia, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the UK, will also open at Thorpe Park next year.

European holiday resort Eurocamp has revealed plans to open a whopping 57 new parks next year.
The new parks will be across France, Spain and Italy, with water parks and beach access.
Families often choose a Eurocamp park for it’s affordability, with some as little as £175 for a week in Spain.
The park celebrated it’s 50th anniversary this year.
