Isolated storms expected over New Year
The weather on Saturday will be mostly clear, while some isolated storms and clouds are expected for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the met office said.
It said on Saturday evening the temperature will fall to 7C inland, 10 to 11C on the coast, and 4C in the mountains.
Meanwhile, on Sunday the weather is expected to be cloudy in the afternoon and cause isolated storms in the west and the mountains.
On New Year’s Day there will be heavy cloud cover with isolated storms throughout the day set to continue Tuesday and Wednesday.
The temperature is not expected to vary over the next couple of days.
