‘Who said Xmas was over?’ Home Bargains shopper spots Valentine’s & Mother’s Day items on sale & prices start at 39p
Most households in the UK will still be looking at their Christmas tree sparkling.
But for one popular store, it’s time to prepare for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
TikTok user @akflynn0 shared a video of her visiting her local Home Bargains where she showed what items were now on the shelves.
She explained: “OK, so I decided to take a trip to Home Bargains today, it’s the 29th of December.
“As soon as I walk in, this is what I see – Valentine’s Day, all of the merch.
“It’s the 29th of December – let me repeat that.”
But Valentine’s Day items were not the only things on the shelf, she added: “And then Mother’s Day.”
“Who said Christmas was over?” She asked.
Home Bargains customers could buy Mother’s Day gift bags, pamper sets, and nail varnish gift boxes.
As for what Valentine’s Day items were available, heart-shaped balloons and candles could be bought, alongside mugs, pyjama sets, and eye masks with hearts on.
The items weren’t expensive either, with prices starting at 99p and going up to a fiver.
@akflynn0 received several comments, of which someone explained how they had seen Easter chocolates already on sale in B&M.
The comment read: “Creme eggs and mini eggs out in B&M when I went today.”
Another one wrote: “Went in earlier, they had Easter stuff out too!!”
A third remarked: “It’s so early !! But ontop of that it’s the same crap every year nothing new !! They just re-sell the same c***.”
