Two dead and two more fighting for life after house fire in south London
Two men have died after a fire tore through a house in south London – and another two are fighting for their life in hospital.
Emergency services rushed to Sanderstead Road, Crodyon, shortly after 10.45pm on Friday night.
Firefighters pulled three men from the property but two of them died at the scene, the Met Police confirmed.
The other was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
A fourth and fifth man later self-presented at hospital – one of those is critical and the other has since been discharged.
Images from the aftermath show blackened windows left open and a white tent erected in the street outside.

A Met Police spokesman said: ‘ Officers are working to inform their next of kin..
‘The cause of the fire is under investigation by LFB and police.’
