A WOMAN has revealed that her husband is 35 years older than her, and when they first got together, people said their age gap relationship would ‘never work’.

Not only this, but people also accused Kelly Liza Marie Wil, 32, of being with her man simply for his pension. However, Kelly was eager to prove the haters wrong.

Posting on social media, Kelly shared a series of loved-up pictures of her and her hubby[/caption]

Kelly explained that her man is 67 and the couple first met ten years ago, when she was 22 and her man was 58.

What started off as a friendship soon blossomed into a budding romance and now, in a clip shared on social media, looking back, Kelly explained: “10 years gone by in a flash.”

In a new trend that has quickly gone viral online, Kelly attached an audio from Adele’s hit song ‘When We Were Young’, as she shared a recent selfie of the couple.

But seconds later, the brunette beauty shared a snap of the pair in the early days of their relationship, as she wrote: “My God this reminds me…of when we were young.”

In another clip posted on social media, Kelly claimed that when she first got with her man, people would often say to her: “It will never work, you’re 22 and he’s 57.”

However, she then proved the haters wrong, as she confirmed: “Six years of marriage still going strong.”

We then saw a variety of pictures of the couple on their wedding day, as Kelly joked: “Just doing my bit taking care of the elderly.”

Not only this, but the young woman then confirmed: “Age is just a number.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @kellylizamariewil, has clearly left many totally stunned, as in just one day, it has quickly amassed 486,300 views.

But social media users were divided at the video – while some agree that age is just a number and were eager to open up about their relationships, not everyone was as kind.

One person said: “24 year age gap, 22 years together.”

Another added: “They are just numbers and you’re both adults, if you’re happy and you look it, love each other and enjoy life, it only happens only once.”

A third commented: “I’m in an age gap relationship (similar age gap as yours) and it’s by far the best relationship I’ve ever had.”

To this, Kelly replied: “That’s lovely of you to share thank you. I feel exactly the same.”

Meanwhile, not everyone was as positive, and many accused Kelly of being with her husband just to claim his pension.

One user wrote: “Get that bag girl, couple more years he will be gone and then that pension is yours.”

A second chimed in: “YEAH GIRL CLAIM THAT PENSION.”

Whilst someone else simply put: “Yikes.”

At the same time, another questioned: “But why?”
